Purpo started in 2022 in a co-working space in Shibuya, Tokyo. Our founders — a content strategist, a software engineer, and a brand consultant — were all experiencing the same pain: they were creating incredible long-form content, but distributing it felt like doing a different job entirely.
Every platform required different formatting, different tone, different length. Repurposing a single video took an entire week. They knew there had to be a better way.
So they built it. What started as an internal tool for their content team became Purpo — a systematic, AI-powered platform that transforms any piece of content into a full library of platform-optimized assets, automatically.
Today, Purpo is used by 500+ content teams, agencies, and solo creators around the world — from Fortune 500 marketing departments to individual YouTubers scaling their reach for the first time.
